We are currently hiring Cable Installers to set up, install, and secure voice and data cables of various pair counts and sizes according to industry and DMI standards.

GENERAL ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES: The statements below are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing of all responsibilities, duties and/or skills required. Additional responsibilities may also be assigned.

• Install work area outlets for floors, modular furniture and walls
• Route cable through modular furniture
• Suspend & support cable correctly
• Perform fire-stopping procedures on fire walls, install sleeves, pull cable through sleeves, core penetration
• Identify different types of cable
• Differentiate & understand the difference between plenum & PVC environments
• Terminate CAT 3 and CAT 5 jacks
• Mount face plates & surface mount boxes correctly
• Assist in testing

• Must have reliable transportation and acceptable driving record (MVR)
• Basic reading and writing skills
• Ability to travel
